At Ahum, it is the therapists who set the price, so the price varies depending on which therapist you choose to book. Most of our therapists charge between SEK 900-1300 per session and they are usually about 45 minutes long.

Sometimes the price can also vary depending on whether you book a face-to-face session or a video call.

How many sessions will I need??

During the first session, you will explain why you are looking for help and the therapist will ask you questions to get an idea of you and your life situation. Based on this, you can then together build a plan for your continued contact. It is difficult to say at an early stage how many sessions will be needed to best help you feel better.

Do you offer student discounts or other discounts?

Some of our therapists offer student and / or senior discounts. In these cases, there is information about this in their profile, and the discounted price then applies from your second booking.

It can sometimes be possible to get a discounted price when you have reached a certain number of sessions with your therapist. As it is the therapist who sets the prices, you can turn to your therapist if you have questions about discounts.

Can I use an exemption card (frikort)?

Ahum's affiliated therapists primarily provide private care through their collaboration with us. Therefore, you can unfortunately not use an exemption card when you book through Ahum.

Some Regions, but not all, have private psychotherapy agreements. This means that privately practising psychologists / psychotherapists can have an agreement with their Region to conduct psychotherapy within the framework of high-cost protection. Some of our therapists have such an agreement and in that case they write in their profile that they accept visits with a referral.

If you have questions about how it works in your Region, we recommend that you contact your local health centre (vårdcentral).

If you have a referral from a doctor at either a health centre or a psychiatric clinic, and have found a therapist at Ahum who has a Regional Agreement, contact our customer service, and we will make sure that you can book with each other.
