Make sure your equipment is working

You can use a computer, tablet or a smartphone for your video call via Ahum. Whatever you choose, we recommend that you ensure a few things before your first video call, to be sure that everything works in the best possible way. Feel free to go through the following steps:

  • Make sure your browser is up to date. Ahum supports most browsers, but we recommend Chrome or Safari for the best experience.

  • Make sure the browser you are using has access to your microphone and camera. You do this in the browser settings.

  • Make sure you have a good internet connection.

Worth considering before a video call

To get the most out of your video call, think a little extra about these points:

  • Where will you sit during therapy? Do you feel relaxed and safe there?

  • What potential disturbances are there in your physical environment? Can you make sure that you are not disturbed by anyone during the therapy?

  • How is the internet connection, and what technology will you use? Think about what it will be like for you to use a computer or tablet that you can set up somewhere, compared to sitting with your phone in your hand. What helps you focus on the therapy?

  • Do you have notifications that can show up at any time? In that case, switch them off during the call.

How do I enter the video call I booked?

You enter the video call by logging in to Ahum with your BankID. Go to my bookings and tap Go to video session next to your booked time. The button becomes active about 15 minutes before the booked time.
