What if I need to cancel my visit, and how do I cancel it?

You can reschedule or cancel your booking up to 24 hours before it starts. This applies regardless of whether the booking is a face-to-face session or a video call. If there are less than 24 hours left, it is no longer possible to reschedule or cancel the booking.

Late cancellations are charged 100%. The same applies if you do not attend a confirmed booking.

Cancel

To cancel your booking, log in to Ahum and go to My Bookings. Find the booking you want to cancel, open the menu to the right and then click Cancel.

Change or reschedule a booking

If you wish to reschedule, first make a cancellation (follow the instructions above), and then make a new booking. You can see your therapist's availability and make a booking by going to My therapists and clicking on your therapist.

Please note!

If you send a request for cancellation via email or chat to our customer service team, the cancellation is not valid until we have confirmed the cancellation back to you.

If you want to be sure that your cancellation is registered in time, it is always best to cancel directly via the website.


Here’s a tip!

Many of our therapists offer video calls. If you had a face-to–face session booked, but feel unwell, you can check with your therapist if you can change the booking into a video call instead. This way you can still use the booked time.


What happens if my therapist needs to cancel?

If you have already paid for a booking and your therapist needs to cancel it (i.e due to illness), you will automatically receive a refund. If you paid for the booking by card, it usually takes 2-3 business days before you see the amount back in your account.

If you booked through your insurance, the booking will not be deducted from your granted credits.
